An excellent and economical, Tap Dance Floor Arabesque is a great option for your studio dance floor. This product is a great surface for almost all dance types that utilize hard shoes including tap and ballroom styles. For soft shoe dancers, the slip resistance is akin to a traditional hardwood floor. This floor is also excellent for barefoot dance. If your studio focuses primarily on ballet, you may enjoy this fast surface. However, if you decide it is too fast, we would recommend another of our dance floors. We strongly recommend that you request a free sample for testing purposes. We are happy to send out 4 to 5 ft lengths free of charge.
Tap Dance Floor Arabesque is available in three attractive marbled colors: Black, Gray and Tan. The marbled finish, besides adding a note of elegance, provides the practical advantage of helping to hide scuff marks. Tap shoes with aluminum taps will leave black oxidation marks on vinyl flooring material. This is more noticeable with gray flooring. For this reason, we do not recommend gray flooring when using this floor for tap dancing. Tap shoes with steel taps will not leave black marks. However, all tap shoes will leave some non-color markings on the floor.
Although it is inexpensive, this remarkable floor does not compromise on quality. Because it’s a heavy duty homogenous vinyl, Tap Dance Floor Arabesque is ideal for permanent installations. It is, on a cost-per-square-foot basis, Rosco’s most affordable floor, so it’s a good choice for such semi-permanent locations as studios in rented quarters. Rosco sells the floor both in rolls and in cut footage to exactly meet your studio size.
This is a very good dance floor for Multi-Purpose applications in classrooms and commercial settings that may have tables and chairs. It’s also a good choice for such semi-permanent locations as studios in rented quarters.
