Teresa H. has installed our MaxTile modular tiles as the flooring for their commercial gym facility.
“We wanted a floor covering for a 1st floor cement slab,” she says. “We laid down 3/8” rubber underlayment underneath.”
MaxTile is a wonderful all-around modular floor tile. Its durability makes it one of our most popular and best-selling products. The wood or stone-look vinyl top gives your floor a high-end appearance while still providing durability and toughness at a reasonable price point. It is rugged enough for commercial applications like Teresa’s and waterproof so it can be used in a variety of different rooms like basements. Many people even use the MaxTile as a portable dance floor. MaxTiles are made in the USA.
“We installed the floor in a few hours,” Teresa says. “Rolled out a strip of underlayment, then snapped in a row of tiles and repeated the process across the floor. Two rows of tiles had to be cut to fit around doors. Cutting was easy with our table saw.”
Installing the MaxTile floor is simple. You just lay the pieces together and snap them in place. You need no glue so you can pull the floor up whenever you want and lay it down later. The connection tabs are designed tough enough for repeated assemblies and disassemblies.
Teresa seems happy with the product. We’ll let her tell you:
“Love this product. Easy to install and tough. I do slamball exercises with heavy medicine balls and drop dumbbells, and not a dent. Even if one needed to be replaced, the snap in style of the tile will make it pretty easy to do. We’ll be ordering more to fill out the office and closet when they’re finished.”
MaxTiles can be laid over any hard, flat surface and can even lay directly on concrete. For applications like Teresa’s, we strongly suggest a rubber underlayment like she used. This will provide an extra layer of cushion between the floor and the surface of the tiles. It also helps with sound dampening. These vinyl tiles come with a ten year residential warranty.
“We have already recommended it, “Teresa says. “Including to several contractors who are doing some additional remodeling for us and had never seen the product before.”
Thank you, Teresa. We’re sure you’ll be enjoying MaxTiles for years to come.

The reversible and highly portable Rosco Dance Floor Marley is excellent for situations where a permanent dance floor cannot be installed. It is lightweight (less than 2 lbs per linear foot-225 lbs per roll) and flexible so it can be easily rolled out and rolled back up as necessary.
This makes the floor great for touring dance companies and theatres. The matte non-skid finish provides you with the controlled slip dancers require. Our Rosco Dance Floor Marley is reversible with black on one side and your choice of white or grey on the other. This dance floor
is sold by the linear foot, or by the complete roll.
This portable dance floor
is great for all types of soft shoe or barefoot dance types including modern, jazz, lyrical, ballet, hip hop, or for drill team use.
We strongly recommend that you use only Rosco vinyl gaffers or double stick tape. Other tapes can damage your floor.
Also, please note: the ROSCO rolls of vinyl should never be stored in a flat position as this will cause the dance flooring
rolls to flatten that may cause rippling in the material when unrolled.
